We are addressing Chronic Loneliness with our Community Guide programs
Our Services
-

General Community Guide
Community Guide services help individuals with developmental disabilities connect to meaningful community resources and supports that align with their person-centered plan. We assist with identifying goals, exploring day and social opportunities, increasing independence, and building self-advocacy skills outside of traditional waiver services.
-

Housing Guide
Housing Guide services support individuals in navigating the housing process, from learning about rental assistance and housing options to understanding tenant rights and responsibilities. We provide education, guidance, and hands-on support in locating and securing safe, affordable, and accessible housing in the community.
You can make a difference!
New Path Support was created to expand access to meaningful, person-centered services for adults with developmental disabilities in Virginia. We focus on supporting individuals through Virginia’s DD Waiver Community Guide services, helping them set personal goals, connect with resources, and build skills for greater independence.
If someone with IDD in your life is experiencing chronic loneliness or isolation, you can help by connecting them to services that foster inclusion and community engagement. A simple referral can open the door to new relationships, shared interests, and a stronger sense of belonging.
