Empowering Individuals Through Connection and Guidance
New Path Support is a DMAS-approved provider of Community Guide and Housing Guide services under Virginia’s Developmental Disabilities (DD) Waiver. We help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Fauquier and surrounding counties build meaningful connections, access community resources, and secure stable housing that supports independence and inclusion.
Our work is rooted in the belief that every person deserves the opportunity to live, participate, and belong within their community. We partner with individuals, families, and support coordinators to turn personal goals into actionable steps that improve quality of life and long-term stability.
What We Do
Our services are focused on creating lasting change through connection, consistency, and collaboration.
Community Guide Services
We support individuals in identifying interests, exploring local opportunities, and forming meaningful relationships that reduce isolation and loneliness. Community Guides help bridge the gap between support coordination and real-life community involvement.
Housing Guide Services
We assist individuals and families in navigating housing options, identifying affordable and accessible resources, and coordinating supports for successful independent or shared living.
Both services are person-centered and goal-oriented, designed to empower each individual to take an active role in their community.
Who We Serve
New Path Support proudly serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Virginia who are enrolled in the Building Independence (BI), Family and Individual Support (FIS), or Community Living (CL) waivers.
We also collaborate with families, guardians, and case managers who are working to connect individuals to the right combination of services and supports.
Our service areas include:
Fauquier County
Culpeper County
Prince William County
Loudoun County
Stafford County
Rappahannock County
And surrounding regions of Northern and Central Virginia
Our Approach
We use a person-centered approach to understand each individual’s goals, strengths, and priorities. Whether through community involvement or housing support, our focus is on building confidence, independence, and belonging.
Every service plan is tailored to the individual. We believe progress happens through consistent, intentional connection.
